Lipkin, Betty Kaner 87 years old. Passed away on Wednesday, August 12. Betty was born May 11, 1922 in Eveleth, MN and she was very proud to be an Iron Ranger. Preceded in death after 61 years of marriage by her loving husband Sol. We also remember her daughter Paula, parents Maurice and Nelle and brothers Jerome and Irving "Kelly" Kaner. Survived by children, William (Julie), Charles (Jeanie), Rachel (Mindy) and eight treasured grandchildren. Betty deeply appreciated the following people: Drs. Ginger Dunivan, Zhuoling Ren, Alan Hirsch and Terry McCarthy. Attorneys Sid Kaplan and Laura Krishnan. Her hosts and friends at Grand Casino Hinckley. Jane, Tom and all at Milda's Cafe. "Dan's" Shuang Cheng Chinese Restaurant. The staff, especially her "adopted son" Randy Mata, and her neighbors at The Riverview Tower. Nurse Jeri Shufelt and her Allina Hospice home care team. And finally, the loving people at N.C. Little Hospice for taking care of Sol in 2005 and then herself during the final two weeks of her life. Betty's memorial service is Noon on Tuesday, August 18 at Temple Israel. Shivah is also that Tuesday evening at the synagogue. Memorials preferred to N.C. Little Hospice. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Minnesota, 612-825-2435.

Preceded in death after 61 years of marriage by her loving husband Sol. We also remember her daughter, Paula; parents, Maurice and Nelle; and brothers, Jerome and Irving "Kelly" Kaner.
